How to do a Bibliography
The examples on this page will help students with Bibliographic entries used with projects and papers.
A. Book citation:
Author's Last Name, First Name. Title. Publisher, place where published, copyright date, pages used.
Ex.: Bendick, Jeanne. Motion and Gravity. Franklin Watts, Inc., NY, 1972, PP 30-35.
B. Encyclopedia:
"Entry Word", Encyclopedia. Publisher, place where published, copyright date, volume number, pages used.
Ex.: "How an Airplane Flies," The World Book Encyclopedia. World Book, Inc., Chicago, 1986, vol. 1, pp221-222.
C. Periodical:
Author's Last Name, First Name. "Title of Article", Name of Periodical. Copyright date, volume number, pages used.
Ex.: Monsell, Louis. "Building Model Airplanes", Model Builders Monthly. 2002, vol. 16, pp23-31.
D. Expert (on your topic):
Last Name, First Name. Occupation. City, State, Date of Contact.
