Library Information
Q. When are students allowed to come to the library?
A. Students are allowed to come to the library from 7:40 A.M. to 8:00 A.M. and from 8:15 A.M. until 2:45 P.M. . All English classes are on a fixed schedule to come to the library every three (3) weeks.
Q. How many books can a student checkout?
A. Students are allowed to checkout up to three (3) books at a time for ten (15) school days. After that time, students may renew their items.
Q. Are students allowed to use the computers in the library?
A. Students may use any of the six (6) computers set aside for them. They can use the Destiny software to look up items in the library or they are able to go onto the Internet to do research. The only thing we ask is that students use the online databases that are supplied by the county before going to online search engines (please see the librarian for any passcodes).
Q. What happens if a book is lost or damaged while checked out?
A. Students are responsible for all damages that a book incurs while checked out to him/her. Damages will be assessed based on the value and condition of the book at checkout. Books that are lost or damaged beyond repair will be assessed at replacement costs.
